About mike holley and other stuff
This site is developed and authored by me, Mike Holley. I’m a
web professional in San Francisco, California who has been working with the
web and other interactive media since 1995.
I currently work for mammothmedia and have been
helping companies like yours look great, be great, and do great things for
over 12 years, while priding myself on using web standards in every aspect
of my work. Have a look around, if you think we'd work well together get
in touch. It's never too late to make a difference!
I currently have a full-time position as a front-end web designer and web
developer at mammothmedia.
Note that any opinions expressed on this site are my personal opinions, and
not necessarily shared by my employer.
The site
This site is a place for me
to post articles, tutorials, and comments on subjects that are interesting
and useful to me and hopefully to other web professionals, both developers
and designers. Most articles on this site are related to web standards, accessibility,
or usability in one way or another, with the occasional article on other subjects.
Technology
This site is built on HTML 4.01 Transitional and styled with CSS. In case
you are using a tool like the HTML validator extension it should display NO
errors. If you check any page on this
site with the W3C HTML Validator there should be no errors, but feel free to
let me know if you do find any.
Accessibility
Accessibility for everybody regardless of disability, software or hardware
is very important to me. There is more accessibility information on the W3C
website. Should you experience a problem related to accessibility with this
site, please let me know and I will try to fix it.
